Culminis Alliance North America, which supports members in the US and Canada, has been hard at work building a benefits package, worth over $20K US, specifically geared towards the needs of IT Professional User Groups.  A number of benefits will be rolled out in stages throughout July and August, such as access for User Group leaders to the Culminis collaboration portal known as Culminis Connections.  Other benefits will include:

· Membership/event management software

· Over $10K worth of Microsoft software for giveaways and raffles

· Access to the Culminis Alliance Speakers Bureau (CASB), which is filled with top speakers such as Mark Minasi and Mark Russinovich

· A hosted collaboration portal, built on Microsoft SharePoint Portal, for each User Group

· Document templates for operations and marketing

· Technical presentations in PowerPoint format

· Exclusive discounts on products and services from top IT solution providers via the Culminis Solution Provider Network (CSPN)

· Listing in the IT Pro User Group  Locator

Leaders of member organizations can expect to receive more information about their group’s specific benefits package (based on membership level) on July 12th via email.

Culminis and CompTIA Combine Efforts to Develop Career Resources

The IT Professional (IT Pro) Membership, a group of over 5000 CompTIA certified IT Professionals that are part of the Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA), has officially joined the Culminis Alliance.  Their mission is to determine the career needs and concerns of the global IT technician community, develop and widely distribute resources, tools and peer-to-peer networking opportunities to enhance the status, professional competence, and success of technicians across a spectrum of experience levels.  CompTIA is well known for their vendor-neutral IT certifications, such as the A+ PC Support Technician and IT Project+ Project Management certifications, and they also have over 19,000 corporate members.  The IT Pro Membership already provides its members with a wealth of career resources and networking opportunities, so they have agreed to work with Culminis to develop career resources for all Culminis Alliance Members.  We would like to officially welcome CompTIA’s IT Pro Membership to the Culminis Alliance!
